You’re just living inside a shell, what we call a body.
So that’s what God talks to. He talks to your spirit, not your flesh.
So when you’re praying to him, and you’re expecting something to happen that’s visible to the eye, a supernatural encounter. Chances are that it won’t happen. Because God doesn’t speak to our flesh, but our spirits.
Yeah, it’d be cool to see a supernatural encounter, but wouldn’t it just be awkward if we got to heaven, and we’re standing beside God Himself, but He’s looking down on earth, talking to our bodies?
So just because it’s not painfully obvious, it doesn’t mean that God’s not talking to you. You just have to listen to what He’s saying.
